lais and will are music people. they met at a Vegas gig last year — the kind of meeting that only happens because you both showed up for the same band. a year later, will proposed at a Rufus Du Sol show in may — loud, dark, full of bass, exactly where they belong.

an online ceremony on the pub's big screen — The Vintage Inn, Dublin

the wedding was as them as it gets. no cathedral, no stiff hall — The Vintage Inn in dublin, the ceremony happening online, up on the big screen, the whole pub watching them say yes. then the room turned into a party. drinks, confetti, the rings going round, a video call so the people who couldn't fly in could still be there.

i love a wedding that refuses the template. lais in a blush sequin gown, will in burnt-orange, a pub full of the people who actually know them — this is what a dublin civil wedding can be when a couple builds it around their own life instead of someone else's rulebook.

a space to be seen
